"Last year’s gala was the highlight of my year. I truly feel like I have made it as an artist. Everything was professional and the location was phenomenal.” - Gwen, POVA artist
The Poverty & the Arts GOLD KEY GALA is the annual fundraising event for the homeless and formerly homeless artists in our POVA Artist Collective. Through the exhibition and sale of their artwork, artists earn income, network with community members, and find the opportunity to thrive at this unique, one-of-a-kind Nashville event. 60% of all art sales goes directly to the artists.
Join us on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 6-9pm for a night of fun at The River Center in downtown Nashville, where you will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, wine (2 complimentary drink tickets), a silent auction, artwork by the participants in our Artist Collective, and entertainment from a local jazz band.
Mingle with fellow arts lovers and community advocates, as well as Poverty & the Arts staff, board members, volunteers, and artists. We look forward to seeing you! All proceeds from the gala will support our artists through program expansion, operational funding, and studio maintenance.
